First post here. Second really. I posted something when I first made the site, but who’s counting. I wanted to write down what I hope to do with this page. If anything, writing this post will help to clarify my thoughts, to refine down my thinking and get it onto the interweb.
First off, I want to use this platform as a means to write. To practice my writing, to see what works, and to find my voice. To write less while saying more. That’s the goal. Secondly, I want to use this as a medium by which I can clarify and share my thoughts on all sorts of things. Topics surrounding health and nutrition, weight training, mindfulness, the state of science, philosophy, human nature, books I’m reading, all sorts of stuff. Anything I find interesting. It’s my blog, not yours.
Even in writing this, I can feel all sorts of angst welling up about what other people may think of me, of what I say. It’s a scary feeling to put your thoughts out there. I’m well aware that this feeling is universal, that every budding man or woman must face and overcome the fear of judgement. Oh, the woes of being human.
If you’re read this far, a round of applause for you. This post is mostly for me, to get things going. But hey, hope you enjoy regardless. Hopefully my future content will be a bit more insightful.
